Junior Counselor Application
We’re excited to invite former camp participants to apply for our Junior Counselor positions!
This is your chance to return to camp in a leadership role — mentor younger students, deepen your exposure to cardiology and medicine, and experience life as a UCSF student.
All Junior Counselors receive a stipend for their participation.
Why Apply?
As a Junior Counselor, you will:
Lead a small group of ~5 students alongside a Senior Counselor
Support hands-on learning activities and interactive sessions
Facilitate group reflections and meaningful discussions
Be paired with a UCSF medical student mentor for professional guidance
Strengthen your leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
Gain valuable exposure to cardiology and the medical field

May 8, 2026 – Decisions Released
July 24, 2026 – Half-Day Counselor Orientation
July 27–31, 2026 – Full Camp Week
Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Commitment
One half-day orientation (Friday, July 24)
Full participation during camp week (Monday–Friday)
Stipend & Benefits
🍽 Meals provided throughout camp week
🎁 $100 gift card at the conclusion of camp
(Bonus stipend contingent on camp budget)
